Team in Spotlight

1. How long have you been working at Velotio?

I will be completing 2 years, this September, but it feels just like yesterday. It’s never been a dull day at Velotio so far. There is always something to do better than what I did yesterday.

2. How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I joined as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and was promoted to a Lead last year. It isn’t just about the title though. During my stint here, I have received immense opportunities. During the lockdown, we had to break the existing recruiting patterns and come up with new ways. Velotio gives me the liberty and the flexibility to challenge old systems and bring a change and that’s the best part. 

3. What is your favorite thing about working at Velotio?

Hands down, it is the people I work with. I can’t thank the management and my bosses enough who consistently push me to step out of my comfort zone and encourage me to upskill myself. And there’s been a lot of learning involved, working closely with my own team. It’s been a challenging yet wonderful journey.

4. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

Everything under the sky, mostly reading and travelling.

Unlike work, I don't like following a routine during my free time. I also love activities where I can compete, it helps me recharge. 

5. What’s a fun fact about you that many people may not know?

I consider myself a boring person and pretty much an open book that way. Talk to me for 10 minutes and you know my past, present and future. 

6. Where’s your favorite place in the world?

No where else but HOME. The comfort of basic and simple things are my favorites.

7. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?

The list is huge - there are many authors and influencers I am awestruck with. It’s hard to pick one, but for the past few years, I have been obsessed with BTS (a Kpop group, it should be a crime to not know them) . For all my moods, I go back to them.  I purple them!

8. Three words to best describe you:

Sab moh maya hain, are the four words I live by. I must have used this line 98765 times. I like to believe that detachment is the most extraordinary thing in the world.

9. What tv show are you binge-watching right now?

Stranger things and Peaky Blinders

10. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

To be able to teleport as and when I can, around the world.

11. What is one food that you cannot resist?

Samosa, any hour, any day!
