1. How long have you been working at Velotio?

I have been a part of Velotio since its inception. Prior to Velotio, the founders- Kalpak and Chirag were running another successful company, Clogeny, which was later acquired by Seagate. I was one of the early hires at Clogeny and have been associated with them ever since.

2. What does your job entail?

At the moment, I am the Director of Engineering at Velotio. In the last 4 years, I have played various roles to fulfill our duties as a technology partner to our customers. I have worked as a senior solutions architect for a US startup, built an ETL pipeline for a US startup in online CAD designing, built a product from scratch for a US-based hardware /software reseller, leading a Data Engineering team for an IoT platform, and developed a Kubernetes backup and recovery solution from scratch.

3. How has your career grown since starting at the company?

It has been an awesome journey. I have grown from being an individual contributor to managing and architecting big products. I have not just honed my technical skills over time but also developed managerial skills.

4. What is your favorite thing about working at Velotio?

Velotio is a flat organization with an open culture. You have the freedom and power to define your own career growth. Your performance outcomes define your growth and for good performers, the sky's the limit.

5. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

When I am not working, you will find me playing with my kids or enjoying an online series.

6. Where’s your favorite place in the world?

I can’t say I have seen the whole world but by far Mount Rainier in Seattle is my favorite place to visit.
